About Us
Background: Uhele Precision Geomatics Inc. is a newly established firm that commenced trading in June 2016. This enterprise is rated as a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor with 135% black/woman owned status. Its two founding members are the registered professionals who possess both cadastral and engineering surveys expertise. The company aims to be a one-stop shop for all Geomatics/Surveying requirements, for the public; private entities; and the state departments at large. This company has strong ties with Institutions of Higher Learning that offer Surveying qualifications.
Vision: Our vision is to be the ultimate Surveying service provider that upholds high standards of professionalism and solid ethical values, and that plays a role in the development of the up and coming geomatics practitioners in order to sustain the profession. We endeavour to be a progressive practice that uses cutting edge technology in execution of surveying tasks.
Mission: In a developing state such as South Africa, it would be a major calamity and an opportunity lost if this company didn’t participate in this endeavour. We strongly feel obligated in playing a role in the infrastructural development of our country, both as the representatives of the geomatics profession and that of the entire built environment.
Transformation: As the Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDI) ourselves, we are committed to providing an environment where there is gender equity, lack of discrimination of any kind, and to uphold the constitutional rights of all our clients and employees. All associates, employees or trainees are to be treated with respect regardless of their race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. Equally important, we aim to give quality service in all projects that we participate in, regardless of scale.
Community Engagement and Development: We believe in community development and empowerment; knowledge sharing; and social upliftment. Our immediate goal regarding societal upliftment is the setting up of a bursary programme that will assist the needy and deserving Geomatics students that show potential. Furthermore, we also want to provide mentorship and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) to Geomatics students as well as the new graduates by means of stringent mentorship programmes. These programmes will be aligned with the registration guidelines as stipulated by the Geomatics Council and thereby contributing to the growth of this profession at large.
